9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageDON'T GO TO THIS SCHOOLHere's why:Its great education, terrible community. I went to this school, and I've never had worse mental health. These people work well, they teach well, but they never have the student-teacher connection a child needs in order to thrive. When there's an issue, they never know how to handle it other than simply scaring the child into how they'll call your parents. That's it. Especially when it comes to the G.A.T.E program, again- great education, kids are always excluded from activities that help them learn to socialize. Teacher conferences were very frequent and informative. Administration was big on safety of the children which is of the upmost importance to my wife and I. The teachers mistreated her, and the counselors never listened to her when she spoke up. Most days, she would come back home crying. The teachers were rude, and one time a teacher wouldn't let her go to the restroom for the entire day until school ended. NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating Averagei played basketball (5, 6th) against st. joseph’s many times. but this one game in particular was absolutely unacceptable. the players from st. joseph’s kept HITTING my own teammates. two were hit in the face multiple times. i personally was elbowed in the sternum, and hit in the back. absolutely disgusting and intolerable. the worst of all was that the coach was ENCOURAGING the players to keep fouling our team. these are not catholic values, and this is what the school allows. the school allows parents like this to coach YOUR children. find a better school with better values and parents.Other Review1mo ago
