Diablo Vista Middle School

My kids have loved Sycamore over the years. There were a few bumps in the road but Sycamore has a newer principal who is remarkable and takes every student into consideration. She is open, fair and communicative with the families. The teachers and staff deeply care about each child's academic growth and development.

Before this principal joined a couple years ago, school was amazing. Since the current principal came, school has been on a decline. The front staff is extremely rude. They pretend to be nice to your faces but are extremely mean. They are not helpful at all, would let kids go out alone, if kids go to office to call their parents more than once in a week when school is over, they yell at the kids. Kids don’t feel like they can ask for any help from front desk staff. The principal, even when told about all these issues, does nothing at all. They are nice to kids whose parents give high donations, even if they do anything wrong(bully or hurt others), those kids go free without even being asked to see the principal or apologize. And this has not only been my experience, but so many other parents have been feeling the same. There are only a handful of teachers who actually care about studies.

My son graduated from Coyote Creek elementary school. Also my other three kids are still in the Coyote Creek school. The school is very good the principal is very kind, friendly, and helpful. All the teachers are awesome. I am so thankful that my kids are going to this school.

There are so many wonderful teachers at this school. We’ve been here 5 years and are so happy with the quality of teachers and the well rounded education provided.

I have two sons (3rd grade and 5th grade). Both love going to school. Have great teachers who developed good relationship with students and worked with them based on their specific requirements. They have great friends at school. Both stay excited about learning and stay motivated. They get homework regularly and weekly tests. Both play sports during recess with their friends. Teachers are in touch with us over emails and also parent/ teacher meetings. School takes active interest in students development. We are very happy with Hidden Hills.

My two daughters, who are now in 6th and 9th grade, attended Quail Run Elementary for their entire elementary school years. We are very thankful for the strong foundation they received here.One of the biggest highlights of the school is the Chinese language program, which is well-known in the neighboring community and has attracted many Chinese families to move into the area. The program is thoughtfully designed and well-supported, and the teachers in this program are especially responsible, caring, and dedicated to their students’ growth.Overall, the teachers and staff at Quail Run are professional and attentive. We always felt that our children were in a safe, welcoming, and academically supportive environment. The school fosters a positive culture where students are encouraged to thrive not just academically but also socially.We had a very positive experience at Quail Run, and I would highly recommend it to families looking for a strong academic program, a great Chinese immersion option, and a nurturing environment for their children.

We went to Creekside from 2012 through 2020. My youngest finished 5th grade just last Spring. Each of my 3 children enjoyed their years at this school and continue to do well at the secondary schools in this district. We moved to the area in 2012 and were pleasantly surprised by the teachers at this school coming from a very rigorous private school in the city. The teachers and staff are truly dedicated to the students and care deeply about their whole development - not just math or reading but they look out for whether your child is developing as a whole - social and emotional development is also very important to them. The community is very supportive and we made lots of friends during our 8 years at the school. We happily volunteered to raise funds to make the school have just about everything they needed. I am very grateful for the many years we went to this school and cannot say enough to praise the teachers.
