Read what parents are saying about Creekside Elementary SchoolWe went to Creekside from 2012 through 2020. My youngest finished 5th grade just last Spring. Each of my 3 children enjoyed their years at this school and continue to do well at the secondary schools in this district. We moved to the area in 2012 and were pleasantly surprised by the teachers at this school coming from a very rigorous private school in the city. The teachers and staff are truly dedicated to the students and care deeply about their whole development - not just math or reading but they look out for whether your child is developing as a whole - social and emotional development is also very important to them. The community is very supportive and we made lots of friends during our 8 years at the school. We happily volunteered to raise funds to make the school have just about everything they needed. I am very grateful for the many years we went to this school and cannot say enough to praise the teachers.
Posted by a parent on 8/9/2020Amazing—we could not be happier. Besides the above, the front office staff is to be commended for always sharing a smile and knowing our names, striking a conversation even when swamped, focusing on the kids instead of the work. The parent community is strong here and the school depends on that engagement, funding, and energy. It is a wonderful extended family!

Posted by a parent on 5/5/2019Completely disagree with previous review. Criticizing our amazingly sweet PE teacher is a testament to the fact that the reviewer is making very false statements. We've been at the school for 5 years and the teachers are excellent, parents are involved (great PTA events, fundraising) and couldn't be happier with the principal.

9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe are new to the THE and have been very happy with the school. The new principle and staff are both caring and professional and run the school well with good communication and organization. All the 2nd grader teachers we have met are motivated and make learning fun for the kids. We feel lucky to be part of the Tassajara Hills Elementary community and sense the same for the other parents.Parent Review6mo ago - Coyote Creek Elementary School

9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageBy far some of the best teachers we could ask for our kids k-5. Great faculty and staff. Parents involvement/participation in school activities a little less than expected. Great school overall. Thankful for my kids to be in a national Blue Ribbon school here.Parent Review3mo ago - Venture (Alternative) School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe LOVE Venture. Our son joined Venture during the last half of 8th grade. He was struggling, coming home from school wiped out. He took two classes at Venture that year (English and Science), continuing at DVMS for the rest. The positive change in how he felt about his schoolwork, and himself was immediate. Venture let him move forward, even finishing science early for the year, earning As in both classes. The one on one instruction with Venture's incredibly caring and committed teachers is amazing. He regained confidence and spirit. Grades also shot up at DVMS. Venture is now full time (9th grade) with a concurrent Algebra class at our nearby HS; challenging but rewarding, and all As thus far. He is figuring out what works for him to truly enjoy the educational process. He is looking fwd to concurrent college courses in English. Independent study takes self-discipline and a lot of parental support and guidance. Some kids get their battery charged in the larger, busier schools. For others, like our son, the larger the classroom, the more his battery drains. Venture charges and challenges him. We are so proud and happy to be part of the Venture community.Parent Review11y ago - Hidden Hills Elementary School

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI have two sons (3rd grade and 5th grade). Both love going to school. Have great teachers who developed good relationship with students and worked with them based on their specific requirements. They have great friends at school. Both stay excited about learning and stay motivated. They get homework regularly and weekly tests. Both play sports during recess with their friends. Teachers are in touch with us over emails and also parent/ teacher meetings. School takes active interest in students development. We are very happy with Hidden Hills.Parent Review6y ago - Quail Run Elementary School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating Average6/10 this school is in decline each year. They focus on LGBTQ curriculum and teach gender identity to young children through books, games, and discussions inside the classroom instead of focusing on Math, science and reading. The principal is incompetent and failing. She needs to resign. Do not sent your child here, instead opt out for another elementary school in the area with better leadership and academics.Parent Review6mo ago - Live Oak Elementary School

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy child is going to Live Oaks elementary school and I must say that the teachers and staff are amazing. The kids graduate with strong academic foundation and overall great social and emotional development for the next chapter of their lives. There are a lot of extra curricular activities and events and leadership opportunities for kids as well for their overall development. Teachers are very kind and most will provide individual attention to the kids as per the learning needs of the kids.Parent Review3mo ago
