6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageIn my experience the school doesn't know how to towel with special Ed students. They are rude,no patience, they get mistreated. The school doesn't feel like a safe place for students or parents. Also there was this time a staff member hit y son. This school has also had in the past a teacher who did inappropriate comments in front of students. The report cards lack any details, and many teachers do not take the time to communicate with parents who want to know what is happening in the classroom. There is little to no organization in the curriculum, and many children with difficulties slip through the cracks. You have to fight just to get any help for your kids if they need extra attention. I have seen children pass third grade without knowing even half of their multiplication tables. The standards at this school are the bare minimum, so it's no wonder they offer to bus kids to schools in Grand Terrace instead (an offer than almost no one takes, which is shocking).
