my two kids attend this school, and seriously, i have not idea why parents are so against this school. my kids are above their average for math and reading. i am really happy with the school, the teachers are so willing to work with the parents involving the education of the kids, the problem is not

Posted by a parent on 5/11/2012this school is horrible my son went here for one week for K and i pulled him out we came from Nevada where they attended a full day and the teachers and staff worked with the parents wilson is half a day doing pre K lessons at the bottom of the list for schools in this district and the staff

Posted by a community member on 4/12/2011My son is 30 yrs old. He attended WWE in 1988-91. His schooling was excellent and we were there when they instituted yr round schooling. It was wonderful... He never had to relearn anything and we had some wonderful mid-year vacations!

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI regret ever letting my child go to this school for as long as I did. When I noticed something was off during 2nd grade, the teacher and principal brushed it off. Then Covid hit and took a turn. When the kids returned, they took forever to do assessment. This school does not offer classes for special needs kids. If you ever have an IEP meeting, I highly recommend getting an advocate!!! The administrators here will fool you and loose your paper work. The report cards lack any details, and many teachers do not take the time to communicate with parents who want to know what is happening in the classroom. There is little to no organization in the curriculum, and many children with difficulties slip through the cracks. You have to fight just to get any help for your kids if they need extra attention. I have seen children pass third grade without knowing even half of their multiplication tables. The standards at this school are the bare minimum, so it's no wonder they offer to bus kids to schools in Grand Terrace instead (an offer than almost no one takes, which is shocking).
