The reason I like Soar is that they care about every student. If there are any problems, they will find a solution. Overall, Soar Charter Academy is a great school.

I regret sending my child to this school longer than I’ve had to.

Just terrible. The report cards lack any details, and many teachers do not take the time to communicate with parents who want to know what is happening in the classroom. There is little to no organization in the curriculum, and many children with difficulties slip through the cracks. You have to fight just to get any help for your kids if they need extra attention. I have seen children pass third grade without knowing even half of their multiplication tables. The standards at this school are the bare minimum, so it's no wonder they offer to bus kids to schools in Grand Terrace instead (an offer than almost no one takes, which is shocking). If you expect the bare minimum from children, that is what they produce. It is extremely disheartening to watch so much potential go to waste.
