Read what parents are saying about Canyon Heights AcademyI am happy that i chose Canyon Heights Academy for my daughter. We came from Stratford, which is very academic, but did not have the Catholic foundation that i wanted for my daughter. Not only is Canyon Heights highly academic, but it also defends and teaches the true Catholic faith. The classes are small, and the teachers are highly educated. I am very happy that i chose this school.
Posted by a parent on 7/21/2023We where looking a school for our two kids that was focus on soft skills development, values and academics, and we found all of that in Canyon Heights. It has been a great experience, more than we expected as we also found a warming and welcoming community of professional parents that also cares about their family development. There is a sense of family around the school, my kids are very happy to attend their respective clases (pre-k and 1st grade), and as parents we have a community that support us , we are not from California so this has been crucial for us to cope with the culture and the day to day life of the area. Considering the quality of education and the price, Canyon Heights is the bes option in the bay area for us.
Posted by a parent on 7/19/2023Canyon Heights Academy is the best thing that has happened to our lives and our daughters’. Coming from 5 prior years of private and public education around the Bay Area with our two daughters, moving to Canyon Heights was a turning point for us. After only 1 year at the school, it became like family to us. The school excels at human and Catholic values formation, while maintaining really high academy standards.
Posted by a parent on 7/16/2023My family and I have been with the school since fall of 2021, and our experience thus far have been wonderful! We love the small, tight-knit community feel to this school. The school's philosophy of educating the whole child through integral formation - human, intellectual, spiritual and apostolic - really sets it apart from the others!
Posted by a parent on 7/14/2023My family has been at Canyon Heights for more than 8 years now. Our oldest started in Kindergarten while our 2 younger ones started in Pre-K. Their Montessori method of teaching, integrated with Catholic values, was the principal factor in our decision. The school's ideology of integral formation is unique in the Bay Area. They (teachers and administration) really try to educate the whole person, as opposed to only the academic aspect. Our kids have found friends who are good influences, and we have found good people who we would cherish as lifelong friends.

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe have been very happy with our experience at St. Lucy. The teachers care genuinely for their students and are invested in their success, both as students and humans. The school hosts many events throughout the school year to foster a sense of community, and as a result, the parent community feels very supportive and cohesive. Highly recommend.Parent Review1y ago - Campbell Christian School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy child has attended this school since 1st grade. They are now in 7th grade. Elementary school was fantastic - good teachers who had their hearts and minds focused on growth and development of their students. I find that middle school is a big miss. They hire sub-par teachers who don't have the experience teaching middle school, have limited experience teaching and helping the students learn the material. and the administration lacks in providing support to those students who are bullied or treated poorly by other students. We initially chose this school for the family-feel the school offered and again for grade school, it was outstanding. Middle school has definitely fallen short of our expectations. Middle school is such a critical time in the development of children and it's a shame more attention hasn't been provided to service the group of kids.Parent Review2mo ago - Old Orchard School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe could not be more pleased with Old Orchard School! We spent a lot of time researching and looking for the right fit for our family. We are in our second year at the school and have two children attending. To say that the Old Orchard administration and staff are incredible would be an understatement. Every staff person is there to help and truly cares about our children and their education. The school is invested in social- emotional learning as well as academics. This was important to us as a family. While academics are important to us we also wanted to know that our children would be learning critical life skills such as how to manage their thoughts and emotions, how to stand up for themselves and others, and how to communicate and build relationships, just to name a few. These lessons are woven into the curriculum each week and my children come home talking about it. Both of my children have made wonderful friends and love their teachers. They are learning new things everyday and always have fun stories to share. The administration takes any questions or concerns that parents have very seriously and it truly feels like a partnership. We feel so lucky to have found this school.Parent Review1y ago - Springbridge International School
