My kids love this school. Teachers are open minded, very knowledgable and caring. Parents community is awesome. The program is kids oriented and strong academically.
Posted by a parent on 2/5/2024I went to this school as a child and am sending my own kids there now. Hawthorne is in my opinion as close as you can get to a private school. Wonderful families, educators and an administration who wants parents to be involved. I couldn’t be happier!

The teachers blame him for being a trouble maker when he is just trying to get away from the other kids who cause trouble. I truly feel as though part of the reason is his race. They enjoyed the academics, the musical, the choir and the friendships they made along the way have lasted past their Good Shepherd days. All three of my children went on to a wonderful high school that GSBH prepared them for. As a parent, I could not be happier with my experience with the teachers and the other families.
