Posted by a parent on 9/22/2021If I could give a lower rating, I certainly would! I've had two children go to this school and both were bullied non-stop. Just two weeks ago my son was bullied; I texted his classroom teacher, still haven't heard a word from her. When I emailed the principal to ask for a conference with the kids parent's, I was denied. Then found out that the principal did NOTHING about the teasing of a deceased sibling or the threats my son received.BCS is the top reason my family bought a home OUTSIDE of the district.
Posted by a parent on 5/7/2021Teachers belittle middle school kids in front of other kids, no returned calls or emails from teachers. Most disappointing from an IB school. Will be surprised if they can keep that designation unless they get a whole new admin and faculty. I started homeschooling instead. Easier to deal with than this school.
Posted by a community member on 7/15/2016this school is so sad, the kids don't want to learn, the teachers can't teach for yelling the whole class period. i see kids just given grades so they pass and get the hell out. this school is the true example of No Child Left Behind. kids don't have to learn and it shows. also the in the 6th grade are working on fourth grade work. shame

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageOverall we've had a good experience with this school. The teachers are amazing and there are a lot of opportunities for community building here. The main issue is that some of the parents need to parent their children better. Also there is a huge learning disparity across the board in the classroom ... I know this comes from ESL and children not being read to, etc ... so the challenge is always laid upon the teacher to teach to those who are so far behind while also trying to keep the higher achievers busy so they don't become bored and/or not learning what they need to learn.Parent Review4y ago - Cherokee Bend Elementary School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe are new to the school this year. We have one child enrolled in the nursery and one in kindergarten. So far, we have been very pleased and honestly surprised at the level of kindness our children are shown every day. After 2 1/2 months of attending this school, they are both adjusting well and really liking it. It has also challenged us at home to spend less time with screens and more time outside. Honestly, I almost wish I could find a good excuse to stop attending here so I could save on the monthly tuition bill, but I can't seem to find a good reason!Parent Review4y ago - Highlands School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageIt is an outstanding school with phenomenal academics! The faculty and staff are very caring, and it is evident that they want to develop the whole child. Critical thinking skills and communication skills are developed.Parent Review2y ago - East Biham Cogic Christian Academy

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI truly enjoyed this school. It teaches structure and great educational values. I am now on the path to become a doctor and it all started at this great institution from preK- 5th grade. I'm not sure how it is now, but it was great in the past.Other Review6y ago
