Irondale Community School

Overall we've had a good experience with this school. The teachers are amazing and there are a lot of opportunities for community building here. The main issue is that some of the parents need to parent their children better. Also there is a huge learning disparity across the board in the classroom ... I know this comes from ESL and children not being read to, etc ... so the challenge is always laid upon the teacher to teach to those who are so far behind while also trying to keep the higher achievers busy so they don't become bored and/or not learning what they need to learn.

I have found Irondale Community School to be a safe, effective, and caring environment for my own child and for the children I teach there. Please note that the test and other data shown in September 2018 is from the 1516 school year.

The staff at ICS is awesome. The teachers and adults really care about the kids. It is a very positive and happy place! Love all the quotes on the walls.

ICS does a good job of meeting the students intellectual needs. The teachers offer interesting, educational activities for the gifted. The music teacher does an outstanding job! We are pleased with the caring teachers and the education our grandson is receiving at Irondale Community School.

ICS is a great school. The teachers, administration, and others have been very supportive and offer a variety of activites to help each individual student. I am enjoying ICS thoroughly.
