After leaving a private school and totally disappointed with the elitism, teaching coming and going and curriculum reinvented every year, we went to our local public school and are flabbergasted how better everything is. MY gosh, why did we waste all that money and our boys bored to tears! Here, teachers are qualified, administrators know what they are doing and the kids are so kind to our boys. Our sons at the private school did 2-4 pages of math a day, here, 6-10 pages and they have orchestra, chess club, and lego club as well. Why didn't we leave the private school years ago? Thank goodness our kids are thriving and don't miss anything about their former school. So grateful that this is our home school!

I've had one child graduate from Driggs and another one currently finishing 3rd grade. I've been so pleased with this school! The teachers are wonderful, the administrative staff is amazing and I feel like my children are getting an excellent education here. Parental involvement is high and disciplinary issues are low. I really couldn't be more please with this school. We actually commute to attend this school as the school whose boundaries we are in is very unimpressive and I just couldn't bring myself to have my kids attend there. I picked this school from among about 7 others that rated similarly on greatschoools.org and I feel like it's an excellent fit for my wants (a strong academic school with low student behavioral issues).

My children have been at Oakridge for 2 years and we have loved our experience here. Principal Drummond is wonderful and knows the children and their needs. Our teachers have been top notch and create a positive learning environment that my children have loved! We have art, music, drama, and dance.

My son would hardly ever come home with homework to the point where I would have to give him stuff to do just to make sure everything was up to par. It felt like they were just pulling people of the street and giving them the title as teacher. Even now that I have pulled my son out of this school I've been trying to obtain his shot records so he can start his new school( I spoke with someone who said they would be sent that day because he can't start school without them, that never happen surprise surprise) they have been very unresponsive and made this process a nightmare not only should you not send your children here but they should teardown the school brick by brick and ever so called teacher in that school should be thrown in jail for impersonating teachers and wasting tax payers hard earned dollars.

I have loved Cottonwood Elementary! My Oldest son started going there in 1st grade, and now I have my boys in 3rd grade and kindergarten . The teachers are great, the principle and front desk are helpful.
