2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAs a student of Overbrook High, it was an amazing experience. We were all there to learn and excel to earn good grades on out SAT's. Our graduating class had more than 600 hundred in 1961. We received more than 250 scolarships to such schools as Princeton, UofP , Temple, Colombia, Morgan state, .Haverford college, Cheney State and Penn state to name a few. Also some guys were admitted to WestPoint and the Naval academy Great sports, winning the Public league basketball championship and defeating the Catholic champions 2 out of 3 years. I can only share my experience. I have not idea about the present academic teaching system. BTW the guidance counselors worked overtime to secure us scholarships and admittance to the local colleges and universities in the Delaware valley.. ..Parent Review2y ago - Check out schools near 5161 Hoopes St.
