Rhoads James School

When I went to this school it was amazing the teachers were very nice and should help me whenever I needed it. The teacher that helped me the most was Ms. Norman she was an amazing teacher and she will forever be my favorite teacher. I even wrote a note to her in fifth grade but I lost it and I never wrote another one. I hope she is doing well but that school is by far the best school I have been to and it’s only good because of that one teacher. I changed schools after 2sd grade which is the grade ms. Norman taught or teaches… but she was a very kind woman and I hope to see her again. I might even write another note who knows…

My daughter has attended since pre k. I'm the beginning the school was organized and flourishing under sister Owen. Once she retired the school has gone down hill like a freight train. Tuition continues to increase by the year, infrastructure of the school has not been updated since the 90's, the area around the school is no longer kept up. The curriculum is not challenging. No science is being taught in the younger grades. An inadequate amount of homework is not given out. There is a new principle now. His approach is "urban education ". Which is race based. No opportunity for outreach.
