  • Trulia User
"This neighborhood is clean and quiet. It’s just the place I need to be. Working two jobs just to come home to leave and quiet would be everything I would to stay in this neighborhood for a long time. "
  • Trulia User
"This is a beautiful family oriented vicinity with a park and lots of activities for the families living in the area. The park is a friendly people/dog oriented vicinity for families to enjoy the outdoors."
  • Trulia User
"Folks in this area are very friendly and helpful it has a reasonable amount of food and shopping places to go to for your needs "
  • Trulia User
"I work from home but there is access to multiple forms of public transportation along with bike lanes and close access to highways. "
  • Trulia User
"Without exception the area blends exceptional “like a walk in the park” and so much more locally to take notice."
  • Trulia User
"Dog owners are very friendly with each other. There are nice dog parks overlooking the city skyline. There are also plenty of groomers and pet stores nearby. "
  • Trulia User
"The houses in the area are getting higher while the schools are still struggling. How can you have homes for a half a million with low quality schools? I say don’t let the property value go up until the schools rating & satisfaction by majority goes up. "
  • Trulia User
"College students are a cool addition to the neighborhood. It makes it a lot safer. I’ve been here for 2 years."
  • Stephen F.
"There are always events for kids at the free library. If you’re into running or biking you can join find people who are willing to run/bike Kelly Drive which is just a stone’s throw away. "
  • E. L.
"Mixed neighborhood with new families, retired Phillians and students. It's very quiet. Drexel and Penn police always out. People don't bother unless you're bothering them. Simple. Plenty of various shops, grocery stores (including 24HR stores,) and plenty of things for light entertainment. 10 minutes on the EL from Center City or Upper Darby. Alternatively, you can take the trolly or bus any other direction. Convenient to 30th Street station, as well as, Delaware Expressway which will take you all over."
  • Felipe V.
"I work at the hospital so it’s an easy and convenient commute by walking 2 blocks. To get into center city, the El (Market-Frankfort line) is just 1.5 blocks away. To get to other locales, there’s the trolley system and if need be there are several bus routes. Parking is abundant most of the times, during typical parking rushes it take maybe 3mins to find parking and that’s only 0.5-1 block away from home. The area focuses more on delivery options for food rather than sit-in ambiance restaurants due to the dense population of University students."
  • E. Laurel
"There’s a mixture of young families, college students and Philadelphia natives that own their homes and pass it on to their family members. University City has tons of places to eat and some unique places to shop and be entertained, all of which are within walking distance. The EL takes you straight to Center City in about 12 minutes. There’s also trolleys available to commute around the neighborhoods, to the Museum of Art, the Zoo, the main Free Library of Philadelphia and into Brewery town or the opposite direction, going further west towards Upper Darby and other suburbs quaint suburbs."
  • Tommie-waheed E.
"I don’t know.. I never go to any. But I do get notices of community meetings. Also, politics are huge in this area. "
  • Elmees12
"There are plenty of parks, and the sidewalks are good. I used to love having my dog here, because I lived right next to a park that had a designated dog area"
  • Onlyoneigreen
"There’s not a lot of room for your dog to run around unless you go to Drexel Park and even then they need to be trained well to be unleashed."
  • Geiserdm
"Great neighborhood. Lots to do within walking distance. Easy to get into center city. Great food and bars thanks to university city. "
