7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school is an the best kept secret of Brooklyn. My daughter went there and graduated his year. She is offto Suny, Albany. BAC prepares their students for all parts of life. She was academically prepared.. She took all A.P. Courses thatchallenged her thinking and prepared her to do college level work. Outside of academics, her teachers were there for any questions,or things she needed to speak to an adult about. I'm so happy that she graduated BAC. The school is clean, beautiful, and looks new. Theyhave two campuses and by the time you get to 11th grade the second campus, she told me she felt like a college student. She loved it. I don'tthink BAC is for every child. They have to want to go to college because they should take advantage of BAC's college level courses. She graduated with over 20 college credits. This saves her time and money. BAC teachers expect a lot from their students and I like that. This school is not one of theschools you take the test to get into. 7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageSchool does not accommodate students with disabilities. Parents are routinely blamed for any emotional issues students with disabilities may experience. School is oblivious about a trauma-informed approach to education. Admin is a nightmare. Principal is an egomaniac with a personal agenda that conflicts with student progress and success. "It’s unique because I’ve lived here for over 15 years. There’s no other place like it the parks, bars, shopping areas, transportation etc. Plus there’s new buildings in the making so that should be interesting to see, wouldn’t wanna be anywhere else but in Brooklyn! "

"I lived in the neighborhood for 27 years, nice area with some negatives. Public transportation is easy to get to but the parking sucks. Prospect park is right there, there is also a lot of restaurants in the area as well."

"Great!! But is dirty and unsafe, mounts of garbage and homeless people in the street, especially by the subway, I don’t recommend this place on less you have businesses going on here. If I have the means to move out of here I would’ve have move already."

"homeowners assoc began when this NYC historic area was built 1898-1905. On 100th anniversary residents got dressed up in formal attire with dinner and orchestra at the old Montauk Club. We host a now grand Halloween parade with kids and parents. from neighborhoods all over Brooklyn. But mainly in the heart of booming Brooklyn this is a neighborhood quiet night and day with huge elegant homes. 26 years - here our daughters grew up."
