4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AveragePembroke Academy is not a school you want to send your children to. My child received a 3-hour detention for skipping class. The class is a nonacademic class, and my child has open campus. When we called and explained this to the women in the office her reply was "Oh, she has an open campus! I didn't realize that" So what she is really saying is if you don't have time to advocate for your child regularly, we will do whatever we want to them because no one holds us accountable. However, this may seem trivial so let's look at what they did when an ex-boyfriend was sexually harassing and threatening my child. THEY BLAMED MY CHILD! It escalated to the point where She called me from the bathroom hysterical because the boy had sent out texts to have my child jumped. I went into the school and took my child and informed the principle that the next person they see walk in that school on my child's behalf would be my attorney. Now this is a crime, but it was handled as if it was a minor infraction. They suspended the boy for 3 days. He continues to harass her through social media sending out fake content to everyone at the school. Thankfully my girls are strong and know their self-worth because this school treats the victims like the criminals. We will get her through this year there (maybe) and then allow her to take her senior year online. I have spoken to an attorney, and it turns out we are not the first (or even the 150th person) to present this issue with this school. Their administration needs to be held accountable with a class action lawsuit. Maybe then they would wake up. Remember if you do have to send your child here, listen to them and ADVOCATE for them or this school will treat your child like a piece of garbage they can toy with and then toss away like they don't matter. There is most definitely a special place in hell for educators who treat children in this manner.Parent Review5mo ago - Pembroke Hill School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI have three kids in the school and so far our experience has been positive. Reading other reviews, I must have gotten lucky with the special ed team that my son has, because I think they’re great - communicative, thorough, engaged. Our experiences with the teachers so far have been generally pretty good. Some wonderful, some a little less so, but I feel like that’s every school. The art teacher is great!! All the kids love her. No real problems at all other than the lack of a bus stop near us (but that’s not really the school’s fault.) I wouldn’t mind if they started giving the kids more homework, especially in the older grades, but otherwise I really have no complaints.Parent Review1y ago - Check out schools near 35 Broadway St.

"Great to walk dogs. There are other dogs that get walked. So if your dog is energetic just know that there are others. Having your dog indoor is good too. If your dog runs away it wouldn’t be hard to find them easily. "
