3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy opinion is that this school and the district cares entirely to much about it's public image instead of it's students. Both of my children adored most of their teachers but their classroom experiences were not as loved. On a daily basis both would come home and expkain how they're class was disrupted by misbehaving students. It seems like admin isn't properly supporting teachers in this matter. If students are being disruptive then get them out! After our experience here and at the middle school we choise to leave the district and couldn't be happier!Parent Review10y ago - Marshwood Middle School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI attend this school and they have never helped. The students and teachers have No morale. There a few good teachers like Mrs.Gray and Mrs.Hwite but besides that nothing good ever happened. I felt they handled covid terribly.Student Review1y ago - Marshwood Great Works School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageBad School, Horrible Teacher. My kid came home on the first day saying the school was not good and wanted to move back to our old home. He went on to the bad spelling words, and one was car. CAR. In 5TH GRADE. He also said all the classes were too easy and his teacher. Don't get me started on her. They should rename this school to Marshwood "Great" Works School.Parent Review8y ago - Marshwood High School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageOverall, students and parents from Marshwood view the school as an extension of an otherwise healthy and flourishing community. For many years I looked at South Berwick as a place to escape from, but now have come to find it is an excellent place to raise a family.Student Review4y ago - Check out schools near 31 Brattle St.

"It’s a friendly little town in Maine where you will always feel welcome. You will be greeted by anyone you see with a smile and everyone is helpful and welcoming. It has that small town feel. There is an awesome school district that is rated 2nd in the state."

"There isn't public transportation. It takes on average 15-30 minutes to get to a grocery store or mall. Traffic can be moderate in town during the morning and afternoon commute due to school. "

"It is in the center of town and therefor very close to most of the community happenings. There are two playgrounds near by, the elementary school is within walking distance and there are several nice local businesses within close proximity as well. I like how close to NH we are, and that the highway is a 10-15 minute drive away. It is a great community to be a part of. "
