5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy son loves this school! The teachers are very attentive and cater to his needs. I also love that the teachers always give me great advice on how I could improve his learning at home. I love that there is large Hispanic influence considering that being bilingual is a gift. It's a shame that they gave this school such a low rating because it truly is misleading.Parent Review9y ago - Oliver W Holmes Middle School

"The neighborhood is becoming more and more culturally diverse. There is a mix of older families who have lived in the area since the neighborhood was first built and a growing turnover of young families. Everyone is friendly, kind and respectful. The schools are continuing to improve and surprise me. Wheeling high school is now an excellent school. We initially felt we would move before our kids go to high school, but now we feel we can stay and still ensure a great education for our kids. "
