6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy son started at Morningside in Kindergarten. He is now finishing his 5th grade year here. My daughter is finishing 1st grade after starting in their Role Model program at age 3. Overall, we have had a great experience here. My kids have loved all of their teachers, they have enjoyed many fun activities put on by the PTSA and the teachers and they've been able to take advantage of some really wonderful after school activities. There is a surprising amount of affordable and fun after school activities here for it being a public school. We have made some very close friends through the years at Morningside. There is a strong community of parents who really care about making the elementary and middle school experience here a good one for the kids who attend. "The Saturday Farmers Market is a popular meeting place for Upper Eastsiders. It has grown from a fresh produce market now with ethnic foods and spices, and boutique wear from India and Indonesia. Every 4th of July the neighborhood throws a potluck party at Baywood Park culminating in fireworks seen over Biscayne Bay. "
