"It is a very friendly neighborhood and we know most of our neighbors. Lots of them have been here for over 20 years. The only thing I would say concerning parents is be careful with kids near the street because everyone wants to drive fast. "

"Gated community and non gated communities mostly in this area. I feel my kids are safer playing outside here, more so than in other neighborhoods in Dade county here. During crisis like hurricane, neighbors pull together here."

"Slowly getting better but Gould’s is right down the street and it’s a problem. There are so many new homes being built and the traffic will be unbearable."

"It’s a family friendly neighborhood. The only drawback if I had smaller children would be, cars go too fast on neighboring streets and that concerns me. "

"That some people do not walk there dogs without a leash. Also my dog is very friendly and I don’t like when other dogs are mean. Third and most important I have kids here who loves to play with my dog in the streets. I just don’t understand why people who live in this community drive so fast sometimes. I guess it’s cause they don’t have a pet or kids "

"It’s a great neighborhood. Easy commute to downtown Miami by bus and train. But traffic is rough on the turnpike and 836/826 at peak hours. It’s safe, lots of shopping centers around, lots of trails to run or ride my bicycle. The ocean and blackpoint park is 20 minute ride to the the east. There are beautiful nursery gardens and farms to the west. Simply the beaches are too far away. Overall, not too bad."
