N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMassive failure in education. Would not recommend if you want you child to be educated, responsible or productive in life. Sub par curriculum, no focus on actual learning or creativity. Just memorization to past tests and moved on to the next grade.Parent Review1y ago - Bethel High School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI have 2 children at BHS and am very disappointed with the Bethel Public School system. I’ve seen it since they started in the bethel school system in kindergarten, but it is getting worse every year. BPSs do not teach kids to learn.. they teach them to pass state tests and graduate. What do I mean by this? Critical thinking and creativity are absent in their classes. What they learn is memorization of what they need for the state tests. It is drilling numbers and facts into their heads 24/7. They memorize facts but have no idea how to THINK! If I had to do it again, I would never have sent my kids to the bethel public schools.Parent Review3y ago - Bethel Middle School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageIf you are thinking about Berry, I would seriously reconsider. The education is awful. Students are behind where they should be per grade level. The teachers are distracted and the majority of time just hand out worksheets with zero hands on learning. The discipline is non-existent. The kids rule and get away with everything. There are constant threats from the teachers and administration when kids act up, but zero follow through. An awful life lesson that will hurt kids in the long run. Not to mention the disruptions in their “education”.Parent Review5mo ago - Ralph M. T. Johnson School

Only the cold greetings of the rats… they feed off the flesh of the weak, I’m hiding in the art room but I don’t know how much longer I can fend them off- oh god the rats- HELP THE RA-Parent Review1y ago - Check out schools near 27 Benedict Rd.

"The school system is good and has a very supportive staff especially their special ed program. I have found the teachers to be caring, encouraging and cheer leaders to their students. The town of bethel is cute and not full of big commercialized retail stores. Has good old mom and pop shops which makes you want to shop locally "

"A small town with everything anyone could possibly want from it. A very friendly community where drivers are actually courteous to pedestrians. And citizens actually stop on the street to converse with each other. Not like strangers but like friends who just met for the first time. Reminds me a little of days gone by long ago. "
