If you are thinking about Berry, I would seriously reconsider. The education is awful. Students are behind where they should be per grade level. The teachers are distracted and the majority of time just hand out worksheets with zero hands on learning. The discipline is non-existent. The kids rule and get away with everything. There are constant threats from the teachers and administration when kids act up, but zero follow through. An awful life lesson that will hurt kids in the long run. Not to mention the disruptions in their “education”.

I am a parent of three and all have attended this school with one in high school now. That child is thriving and the unique skills she brings have been a huge asset. It is non-traditional but in the best way--they have time outdoors and exposure to art, languages and music--a Renaissance education. Mostly I cannot stay enough about the staff and faculty who make this feel like home.

I can’t say enough about sms. We switched from bethel public and absolutely love this school. There is a sense of calm and peace in the school. There is discipline that is greatly lacking in the public school and kids are taught respect for their teachers and other students. And the kids have fun. Mine never liked school in bethel public, but love sms, the teachers and their new friends. It has been life changing for my family.

Very good school. Excellent teachers, administrators and staff. Wonderful kids in the school as well.
