4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy family has several generations who have attended North High School and now both my children are attending. The staff and teachers are very involved in helping students to succeed in their classes by outreaching parents, giving tutoring times through the week and in school social emotional support. The staff make every effort to support every educational need for each student, including special education considerations. There is opportunity for students to take college level courses, earn college credit and get an associate degree while in high school. I am proud that both my children are attending North and I would encourage if you have questions attend an open house or just schedule a time to meet with principal or assistant principal for more information.Parent Review6mo ago - Skinner Middle School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe only good part of this school is the band. The office workers are some of the most incompetent people I've met. They won't write you passes even when you clearly deserve one. The lunch is disgusting and makes me sick to even look at. They expect us to get from one side of the building to the other and use the bathroom in 3 minutes. The rules at this school are very stupid, for example you can't bring a phone to class. The social staff makes me very angry and I won't be talking to them again. The teachers are nice but none of the office staff or social support people are. Don't come here.Student Review6mo ago - STRIVE Prep - Sunnyside Campus

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageSTRIVE Prep Sunnyside is a place where students are safe in all aspects of their identity. Our campus is filled with adults who are experts in their work and empower students to take ownership of their success through our On Track and positive behavior system. Through small advisories and a small school setting, every student at Sunnyside is known by every adult--students do not slip through the cracks here. Your child will build the foundation they need for lifelong success while at Sunnyside. Sunnyside is a place where your student will be known and seen every single day. Our small school setting allows every adult to not just know every student, but develop relationships that allow your student to take risks and grow into a successful young adult. Students will have the same advisor for 3 years so the student and YOU feel comfortable and confident with this adult over your time here.Other Review2y ago - Check out schools near 4198 N Osceola St.

"I used to love this neighborhood, but it has gone downhill the past couple of years. If I had children, I would not feel comfortable letting them play in the front yard due to cars consistently driving over the speed limit. "

"I live(d), I moved to another area for 2 years, and couldn't move back fast enough. I have lived in this neighborhood for 4 years total, and couldn't imagine living anywhere else. I caters to all age groups, life status, gender, race, etc. It is close to all highways, has some amazing bars and restaurants, but most of all safe! I have been to a lot of great neighborhoods in Denver, but I keep moving back here, between the cost, the safety, the accessability, and the great things to do in the area. I plan on living in this area for a long time!!"

"My wife and I have lived near Tennyson and 39th for over 5 years and love it. We can walk to over a dozen private restaurants, a health food market, yoga, parks, art galleries and more. Our last house was 1.5 miles away. That's how great this part of town is. A lot of young families, diverse group of people, hip. We live on the corner and see people walking throughout the day. We consider almost half the people on our block friends."

"I love Berkeley. A lot less expensive than West Highland, but with all the amenities."
