What Locals Say about Villa Park

  • Trulia User
"It’s very welcoming community, is the city, so you’re going to find that trash bins in your alleyway sometimes, however, the sense of family in the community is strong. Parents play with their kids in the park, people will gather for outdoor activities, jog, play with their dogs. For me, it’s a perfect blend. Just outside the mischief, but close enough when you need it."
  • Trulia User
"It’s not been gentrified. Just common folk live around here. It’s very close to downtown Denver and I can get on the light rail just a few blocks away."
  • Naomi D.
"most people either say hello or wave to each other. and they mind there own business. neighbors usually try not to park in front of someone else's house."
  • Brian T.
"I’ve lived here for 10 years. It’s been a great first home. It’s close to everything. Surprisingly quiet. Also, It’s got nowhere to go but up. "
  • Thejillianaire
"It’s surprisingly quiet and very family friendly. It’s also close to the biking/walking trail Lakewood Gulch and Paco Sanchez Park that has some very pretty views of the city. "
  • Chris B.
"We have lived here for over 5 years now and could not be happier with our decision. With the opening of the West Rail Line and updates to 6th and Federal Blvd we've watched our home value as well as nearby values increase drastically. Great place to fix and flip an older home or buy an already flipped home. Good time to get in now. I have a feeling it will become the new Highlands in due time."
  • Mandy
"Don't live here unless you want dogs running around loose, trash everywhere, and kids playing in the street irresponsibly - lived here for 1 year and couldn't be happier to move out ASAP. The neighbors think revving up their engines loudly and racing down the street is ok also...!?"
