Went from being respected by peers and teachers at my old school to ridiculed and laughed at by the entire class.Other Review2mo ago14 Reviews - Casey Middle School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageCasey Middle has changed so much in just two years! When our daughter started as a 6th grader in the fall 2021, it was a mess. We almost transferred her based on the poor leadership and chaotic environment. Honoring that many of the issues were caused by COVID, it was still struggling compared with other boulder middle schools. However, the new principal, Dr. Bryant Shaw, is simply fabulous. He started in fall 2022 and his presence has completely changed the energy and culture of Casey! The teachers seem happy to be there, the students feel safe and known and he is seriously invested in the community. It's amazing what a caring, motivated principal can do in a short time. There is still work to be done to get the school back up to its pre-COVID reputation but its clearly on the right track now.Parent Review2y ago10 Reviews - Columbine Elementary School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy son has attended Columbine since preschool and is now in second grade. He’s part of the bilingual program and is thriving in both reading and writing in both languages. He has made many friends, and we truly enjoy being part of the school community. The teachers have been wonderful—warm, supportive, and dedicated.Parent Review6mo ago19 Reviews - Check out schools near 2840 28th St.

"I like how we’re all living in separate spaces but we have a communal bond through out the neighborhood. I like how all the dogs are nice and friendly too. "

"My commute is quiet - I walk to work most of the year. Cars are not always mindful of pedestrians, but traffic is low and I only rarely have had issues in the last four years. "

"The only way I could do that was if you wanted me too I could come and pick it out and then I can go pick up it from your place or you could just pick me out of there "

"An insulated community. Seemingly progressive but lacking in generosity and very elitist. Good schools if all you care about is academic learning."

"We have neighborhood concerts/block parties. Really great way to connect and hear live music. We also have Farm to Bus, which is a farmer's market on a bus. They have fresh eggs and bread, as well as locally grown honey. There's a park nearby which is a great place to exercise abd chat with other neighbors."

"this area is close to campus so there are a lot of college students. that being said, there are also a lot of families as well (it's a mix) and I have found the neighborhood to be very kind and reasonable (i.e. no late and loud partying). everyone I've interacted with has been respectful."

"I have lived in North Boulder for 30 years- Wonderland Hills and Dakota Ridge, it has always felt safe here. My children attended Boulder Public Schools, I give the schools an A+! We live a convenient short distance to restaurants, grocery stores, schools, and shopping, ...friends hang out at our house and tell me I’m a great baker of Chocolate Chip Cookies! I love to send them home with cookies or fresh dough to bake cookies with their own families! You should bring your kids to our house on Halloween, what a treat! I walk to Pearl Street by way of Foothills Trail, through beautiful neighborhoods apple orchards, Mt. Sanitas and am fascinated by the rock formations. I bicycle many days a week and many miles, such a perfect location to start from and end up! It’s a family and friends tradition to do the Bolder Boulder on the Monday of Memorial Day weekend, so fun! I have been taking it easy for a while due to some physical injuries, but continue to build up my strength and stamina walking my dog, climbing and hiking - I get a great workout! Here’s a tidbit! Keep your dog on leash and clean u"
