6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy daughter is currently an 8th grade student at Giano. My older son whom is currently a Nogales high school student also attended Giano Intermediate for two years. I have younger ones that will soon be joining the Giano Gladiator family. My experience as well as both of my children's experience was nothing short of amazing at this school. In all schools you'll find a bad crowd of kids, regardless of how perfect the city, area or school district may seem. Of coarse children are a direct reflection of their parents or parent. Therefore if theirs no structure, stability and discipline at home the children will carry that on on campus as well. As far as the Principal, teachers and staff, they really care about the children's academic future as well as their behavior as they do represent the school as long as they attend it. They coarses and curriculum has gotten harder over time but that's simply challenges the students. The Principal, teachers and staff do a great job supporting the children that want to take advantage of all the opportunities this school has to offer. From AVID to NATIONAL HONOR SOCIETY which are programs that help the children prepare and be ready for academic success throughout high school and carry on to college. As well as robotics and so many elective coarses and extra curricular activities this school has adopted in order to give the children a bigger selection of career pathway coarses that they might be interested to carry on in hight school as well as college/universities. The Principal loves his school and his students and really encourages parent involvement. This school has opened doors and opportunities for my children that other schools again regarless of the city, area or school district don't.Parent Review7y ago - Nogales High School
