During covid when the kids were not supposed to be even touching each other, another child pushed my son while playing tag and he fell unconscious. When he woke up there was kids around him. I drove down to the school and no one, not even the principal knew what had happen, the duty wasn’t looking at the time. The principal refused to take accountability. 6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school has some teachers who know how to teach the subject and make it understanding when others don't. This school has a lot of students who fight for idiotic reasons and the school handles it decently. They force the different grades to go out to the field between Monday through Thursday and you don't get a say. The principal found out one of my friends lied about her grade and told her parents that she lied and that he had a boyfriend. I dont know why that was necessary. The nurse is really nice and cares for the students. The councilors are good at doing their job and even giving students fidget toys when they need it for anxiety or some other reason. I would beware of how bad some students are and how some teachers teach because some teachers don't know how to teach without the whole class understanding and some students do drugs and fight for dumb reasonsOther Review1y ago - Monte Vista High School

"They would like it because there’s a bunch of people here that have dogs. They walk them around the neighborhood, there’s also a park nearby. They wouldn’t like this neighborhood because there’s a few coyotes here at night. A lot of cars pass by during the night. A lot of cats."

"there are different areas of spring valley. where I am is a lot of commercial, so it is convenient however it lacks the neighborhood feel. I will say though in my experience everyone seems genuinely very friendly in the businesses as well as the neighbors. it is a good community."

"Most of spring valley is quiet and most people carrie on their business and don't bother anyone. Some kids can be a little vulgar and tend to bully others so of you have children I advise walking with them if they walk to and from school. "
