2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAs any school, Hoover does need improvement but overall it is a good school despite the neighborhood. My child attends this school and I am satisfied the teachers and the support staff. Hoover has made significant progress in the years that my son has been there. I know that there is more to be made and I know it will be for the better. Totally recommend this school.Parent Review9y ago - Westlake Middle School

"It's fine. Hoover-Foster ( or Ghosttown, as many know it) has its problems, mostly due to all the encampments around. It's mostly safe, but I wouldn't walk around at night with headphones on or anything. "
