"Neighbors are friendly, families, and there are very incredible restaurants and shops to walk to in every direction. This is a constantly bustling neighborhood close to transit, so it’s easy to get to Oakland, Berkeley, and SF. I love that many of the houses are historic and small craftsmen houses. I hope that neighbors can continue to embrace change and developments that grow our diversity and that welcome new people into Rockridge."

"What's in between Oakland's two hottest neighborhoods - Temescal and Rockridge - and is a 2 minute drive to the freeway, a several minute walk to BART and multiple bus lines, and in between a couple of libraries, a fabulous public pool, a great farmers market and tons of shops and restaurants? That would be Lower Rockridge. Yes there is some crime because the area is so convenient. That "con" has brought the neighborhood together as well as gotten attention from the police dept and city council. Especially for folks where some family members are going to SF and some are in Oakland or Berkeley it is especially great."
