6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThere are many pros and cons to attending school. On the pro side, schools can provide a structured environment for children to learn and grow. It can also expose students to a wide range of knowledge and experiences, and provide them with valuable socialization skills. In addition, the school can help prepare students for future education and career opportunities. On the con side, the school can be a source of stress for students. It can be difficult to keep up with the demands of schoolwork, and some students may feel overwhelmed by the pressure to perform well. School can also be expensive, especially for families who are struggling financially. In addition, some students may not enjoy the traditional classroom setting and may prefer to learn in a different way.Overall, whether or not the school is a good experience depends on the individual student and their unique needs and circumstances. Some students thrive in a school environment, while others may struggle. It is important for parents and educators to consider the pros and cons of school and to make decisions that are in the best interest of the student. Some teachers do not provide the right amount of enthusiasm which is the reason why I am giving this a two.Student Review1y ago - Bethune K-8

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageSo far it's been a very good school and I like the fact that it's a K through 8 school where I can keep all my kids together for a couple of more years. Also if you have a young or maybe small 6th 7th or 8th grader that you feel is not quite ready to go to a big Middle School this is a great alternative. My middle school child receives homework but I don't think he is bombarded with it the way he would probably be in a traditional Middle School setting. Bethune is much smaller and teachers really get to know your child.Parent Review4y ago - Check out schools near 4148 E Plaza Blvd.

"Family has lived in the San Diego area for over 30 years. Lots of friendly people walk the streets. Law enforcement is pretty decent and I don't notice much crime happening around. "

"I used to live here and I loved it! Neighbors are very quiet pleasant. One thing it hate is loud neighbors. Never any traffic on the street perfect for kids and pets. The only thing is that there are no good places to eat near by besides fast food. But this street is near perfect in my opinion. I have yet to find neighbors and a quiet street like this one"
