My teen has really taken charge of his education here at this school. Just like anything in life you get out what you put in. This school has everything to allow a student to succeed but they need to take advantage of it. This is where parenting is important. If you as a parent don’t take education seriously neither will your child. The school does its best to help students succeed but some kids don’t have the support at home nor the resilience to overcome. The school has special programs for these kids. From our experience the teachers really care and so does the administration. The extra curricular activities are awesome. From dance to sports to automotive to JROTC your kids will find something to gravitate towards and enjoy. There is something for everybody. Flowing Wells is a community and you can feel its presence. For the parent complaining about absences, you get a call every time your child is absent from just 1 class. You also have access to grades and attendance on PowerSchool. That is on you as a parent to make sure your kids goes to school and makes wise choices. If you ignore the problem then you can’t complain about the consequences.

Three of my children have or are attending this junior high. I think that the school is a great bridge between the elementary level and the high schoollevel. The staff are easy to access if there is an issue and willing to work with you if your child is struggling. Would highly recommend!!

my daughter has been here since kindergarten, no issue with her teachers from then to now. My one issue is the principal and the way he goes about discipline on bullying. Doesn't seem to be bothered much by it, he says they are kids, which I did not like that response towards the situation. Im happy with the teachers and the way my daughter has grown on them and loves them, they are 10/10!
