"Residential, and quiet, but walk a few blocks and you are in an active, vibrant commercial center, with many shops."

"I've lived in Fairmount Park over 15 years. One of the best things, being able to walk to Westfest an d the Farmer's Market, not worrying about where to park!"

"West Seattle is like a quaint little village in Seattle (it is rapidly growing). This area, called Fairmount Park, is between the Alaska Junction and the Morgan Junction. Walking distance to those two areas with restaurants, coffee shops, fitness, grocery stores. Bike ride to Lincoln Park. Everyone has a dog and area is dog friendly. A lot of small children & typical status quo Seattle Public Schools. Fairmount Park has a very active Neighborhood...enjoy this little slice of land between Fauntleroy and California Ave (It only includes 40th-42nd AVE SW)."

"I love the fact that this is just one block to Rapid Ride and also to a great little coffee shop to hang out. Close to both Morgan Junction and Alaska Junction."
