6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI have had 2 of my kids go to Livingston. My oldest was in Hi-Cap, he was challenged and now he continues to be in Hi-Cap in middle school. My daughter has had an IEP since 2nd grade, I had voiced my concerns regarding her being behind. I will say I felt her 1st grade teacher was not very understanding and just judged her as lazy but out of all the teachers that is the only one I had an issue, all the other teachers my kids have had have been wonderful! My youngest is now ready to start kinder this year. Mr. Jisa the current principal is great!Other Review4y ago6 Reviews - James Mcgee Elementary School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe’ve only been with the school district for a year but have been pleasantly surprised. They have always encouraged and remained optimistic with learning goals. I feel like they have given full attention for my kiddo and have helped her progress in areas that were lacking just a few months ago.Parent Review5y ago17 Reviews - Maya Angelou Elementary School

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageTerrible. I believe some teachers at this school should not be around children. My son was traumatized by his second grade teacher and others. He was called stupid, threaten, sent to the principals office to scare him when he did nothing, recorded as he struggled to read (he’s dyslexic), was forced to wear reading glasses as the teacher read from a book (he did not have a book in front of him), he was made fun of for the content of his backpack after the teacher forced him to empty it (without cause), I could go on.Parent Review5y ago3 Reviews - Kingspoint Christian School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy child attends this school and so far, it's a great improvement compared to the school my other kid went too, their learning is more engaging and their attention to the child's development is also much greater. Their teachers are also amazing; they communicate really well with the parents and are sure to answer questions as soon as possible.Parent Review3mo ago2 Reviews - Barbara McClintock STEM Elementary

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school does not take the safety and well-being of the students seriously. Bullies are rampant and the office does not bother to communicate with you even when your child(ren) are actively experiencing violence regularly. They are also sexist and will not contact the primary caregiver if that caregiver is a male and will only contact the female even it is agreed upon and on multiple occasions addressed that the male is the one available for calls and all other communication. They don't take care of their students. And the safeguarding of students at pickup is horrible. If there's a substitute, expect that your 2nd grader will be walking out unsupervised and unaccounted for.Parent Review1y ago1 Reviews - Columbia River Elementary
