The staff at KGES is incredible. They are very focused on their students. They are very proactive and accommodating.

My two boys thrived in this exceptional learning environment provided by this outstanding school! Their educational journey was nothing short of amazing, filled with enriching experiences that have undoubtedly contributed to their growth and development. I wholeheartedly recommend this school to any parent seeking an unparalleled educational experience for their children. The dedication of the staff, the innovative teaching methods, and the nurturing atmosphere truly make it a gem in the realm of education.

This school is not a good option for special education. Communication is terrible. There is a lack of support regarding students needs. I am having problems with this school that I have never had anywhere else nor in my childs entire life. It is extremely frustrating and disappointing.

The first day of school was August 24, 2026. I dropped my fourth grader off at school and I wanted to know if I signed my child up for being a bus rider so I go up there went to the office and and proceeded to explain that I needed my child to go on the bus today. The office stated OK yes your child will go on the bus today. I will call down to her classroom to let her know .school let out kids went home. I’m at the bus stop waiting for my child to get off which she did not the worry and panic that I felt when my child did not get off the bus no mother should feel. what I want to explain that the office looked me in my face and lied and said they told my daughter to get on the bus. When I asked my child did someone let you know that I said get on the bus and she said no. now I have no faith or trust in Malibu employees miscommunication is through the roof and it’s unacceptable for the first day of school and my child did not get on the bus when I went up there and told them to do so it’s like they didn’t care or wasn’t concerned. How can I build trust with a school that my child is in when they can can’t even relay a simple message telling my child to get on a school bus.

Great school. Great teachers. Engaging and Friendly Principal. My child has been going here for 3yrs and loves it. I've also interacted with the School staff and resource officers and they are all very sweet and caring individuals who care about their impact on the local community.

As a parent, I expected a school that would recognize both my child's strengths and areas of growth. Instead, we found a culture that seemed far more focused on labels than solutions. Despite excelling academically and reading at a level well above grade expectations, our child was repeatedly viewed through the lens of behavioral challenges.Positive communication from teachers was rare. We frequently heard about concerns but seldom about achievements, progress, or the many things our child was doing well. At the same time, serious issues, including bullying on the playground and the school bus, did not appear to receive the attention or follow-up we expected.After exhausting our options, we ultimately moved to a different area so our child would not have to continue attending this school. No family should feel that relocating is their best solution, but that is where our experience led us. Unfortunately, we cannot recommend this school based on our experience.

My daughter had a terrible experience in this school. Her classmates bullied her and the teachers did absolutely nothing. The other kids would blame my daughter for their actions. I do not recommend this school at all.
