"There is an amazingly small amount of traffic so walking is very safe and calm, however there are no public fenced areas to allow your dog to run free. "

"This neighborhood is very quiet and well established. Most people own thier homes and take good care of the lawns and structures. Many people walk at night and also have dogs. Children play in yards and ride bikes on the streets. "

"I work 1 mile from my home. However, being closer to 76 makes it easier for people who live downtown to get to work very quickly. The convenience of Chippenham, Powhite into the city, and being close to Forest Hill avenue makes commuting very efficient. "

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageBon Air Elementary is a pretty special place. This is the 3rd year our kid has attended and we really appreciate the little community that has been built around the school. There are a group of very active parents and PTA which has helped enrich the school experience with extra activities like Pizza and Pumpkins in October or Field Day at the end of the year. Volunteers also help lead run club every Wednesday. While there are a lot of activities, you can choose your adventure. There doesn't feel the competitive pressure of needing to keep up with other families.Parent Review6mo ago12 Reviews - Crestwood Elementary School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageCrestwood Elementary has been incredible for both of my boys. They really do take a team approach to understanding and facilitating all aspects of education. I am grateful for the staff and their continued support as we (my husband and I) are always learning how to parent two entirely different children at different age and developmental stages.Parent Review1y ago22 Reviews - Greenfield Elementary School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageGreenfield Elementary. The principal is very pleasant, has a genuine smile and says hello. The person in charge of making sure the kids go the the correct vehicle needs to pay a little more attention.Another thing I observed is some parents come on the school grounds half naked. Backs, stomach showing and some have no bras on. Wow, I have never seen anything like that in Chesterfield before. For a minute I thought I was in the hood in Richmond.Parent Review8mo ago9 Reviews - St Edward-Epiphany School

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe teachers are wonderful, but the students and the principal are the problem, especially if you're coloured, queer, and/or a minority. Students use slurs, such as the R word, often. If you are not popular, you become the next headline of gossip; everyone knows everyone, whether good or bad.Student Review1w ago10 Reviews
