"Some bark constantly due to being left outside often early morning and later evening but everywhere most pick up after their dog but you have the exception "

"I don't live in that area, I live in Chesapeake, it's just gotten expensive to live here. I'm looking for a nice neighborhood in Norfolk, I like to look at the crime rate while I'm visiting this site. my neighborhood is safe, and friendly, with lots of dogs but folks take care of their pets"

"I've lived in this neighborhood for 7 years. I think the neighbors are nice and if you need them they are there. The location is prime with all schools sk your child can go from Prek to graduating all in one area. "

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis is one of the worst Chesapeake public schools we have attended. Since day, one administration has been the worst. They do not take care of bullying at all. The kids behaviors are out of control. If you’re wanting an elementary school, they’re way better ones in the Chesapeake system.Parent Review2mo ago11 Reviews - Norfolk Highlands Primary School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school has changed so much from what many may remember it as. There are some truly truly wonderful teachers in this school. However the school seems very closed off and the staff is very put off when you ask any questions in the office. The new principal as well as the assistant principal seem to really agree with you in a matter but only in the instant you are speaking to them! The lunch aid needs to be let go. She is extremely nasty with the children. The only thing I regret about leaving the school district is that my other children will not get to experience the wonderful kindergarten team. All the wonderful past experiences with the prior principal Beasley really is going to be missed. Also the PTA is pretty closed off as well, I was hopeful to be part of them but when I approached them at multiple open houses multiple years I realized it was best to stay away. Such a shame how much this school has changed. Please consider this when looking to send your children to this school.Parent Review10y ago9 Reviews - Thurgood Marshall Elementary School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy daughter started Kindergarten during the Pandemic online and she has thrived even under those conditions! She is headed to the 3rd grade and reads above grade level. Each year her teacher inspires her to keep reading and growing! She has been invited to the Summer Enrichment program for the last two years! We LOVE everything about T.M.E.!!!Parent Review2y ago3 Reviews - Providence Christian School

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI would not recommend sending your child to this school. My son was in the Pre-K class. This was a small class of 10 children (7 Girls 3 Boys). The Teacher of this class had poor classroom management and made my child out to be a discipline issue. Which in reality he was a typical 5 yr old boy full of energy and was a little rambunctious. Instead of working together to figure out ways to help him focus and sit, the teacher and the principal "demoted" my son to the 3 yr old class. Where he remained for the last part of the school year. Because they didn't want to deal with it! As a result of this I feel as if they set him up for failure and did not make sure he was getting the proper lessons and skills he needed for Kindergarten success.Parent Review4y ago8 Reviews - Cornerstone Christian School

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school was very good to me and I know it isn't around anymore. But even so I'd like to make a good review of it. It was very small but it was nice. Everyone included everyone. I still remember my classmates because we were in every class together. I wish someone would open it back up and restore it to the way it used to beOther Review1y ago13 Reviews - Southeastern Va Tr Center Ep
