This school seems to have a serious lack of resources. The landscape is unkept, untidy and there is nothing attractive. The hedges are full of trash and leaves. The playground is unkept, dirty, old and unsafe. The front entrance walkway floods when it rains, and the children are mandated to walk through the water getting their shoes soaked. The parents are not allowed to go beyond the lobby area which gives an indication the classrooms are probably just as unkept as the landscape. Parents are not allowed to meet the teacher or visit the classroom for new students. This is scary because the parent does not have a clue who the teacher is or what type of environment is setup for teaching. I can almost guess the classrooms are probably overcrowded. My child came home sick the first week of school which gives an indication that the school or teachers are not practicing COVID guidelines. My child also, stated a kid was bullying and the teacher said, "there is nothing I can do about it". I would not recommend this school. This school has taken a major landslide.

Horrible!!! If this is what TEXAS schools are all like I would rather homeschool my kids... Disgusting attitudes... There are a few rays of sunshine and they are the coach and the 5th grade art teacher... I pray daily for these people and the life lessons they are teaching these kids... smh

Our first year at this school we had a great teacher who really cared about our child. Our second year was horrible with his teacher and the lack of accountability.The administration at this school is completely disorganized. There is no accountability and no respect for parents. The only parents who seem to do well with administration are the stay at home parents.This school also lacks security. You can walk through the front door in the middle of the day and no one will stop you. On days were I volunteered to help in the class I was giving a visitor pass by the office without anyone checking my ID or asking who I was. If you plan to pick up your child from school, you do not need to show anything to prove that you are authorized to pick up a child. All you have to do is tell them who you want to pick up.

Terrible school. Staff is unprofessional, teacher threaten the kids, and the instruction is poor.

this school is horrible, do not recommend at all . This school has not been helping my child at all. The principal Rubinna Sanchez is so lazy that she took the 6th grade teacher and put them her into another class instead of finding a new substitute for the class. This school has been planning so much stuff as in, “new part of the building” or,”we will fix the portables” but instead they keep on buying raising canes and having teacher partys meaning they are spending all the funds on party’s instead of what the actual students need. The counselor doesn’t even teach the children my child came home to me and said,”the counselor got mad and instead of trying to calm us down, she whipped out her phone and started doing her own thing for the remaining 15minutes.” This school also always have substitutes working instead of actual teachers. DO NOT GO TO THIS SCHOOL IT IS HORRIBLE

Administration and staff are kind. However I notice the school only celebrates one culture. The Mexican culture. Although majority of the population of students are mexican/Hispanic. I believe other cultures should be celebrated just as much. Other cultures should be more than just morning announcements just to say they "acknowledged" it. Once all students feel included this will be an amazing school!
