5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageHorrible. The admin screams and yanks the kids by the arm. The kids are terrified. Bathroom breaks are chaos as multiple grades are in the hall lined up to use two stalls. Pick up is chaos as well with parent not allowed to get their child on sight. TEACHERS are not paid until October, but are forced to buy student uniforms out of pocket. It is forbidden to wear adult clothes or share uniforms to save money. Another teacher stole a cabinet of supplies and curriculum right in my face the day before school and I had to teach in an empty room. I was pulled out of class by a male admin for wearing a long black skirt and told to put on a little girl's jumper dress. Horrible place to teach. How is any of that legal and how are they still open?Teacher Review1mo ago33 Reviews - Barton Elementary School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageSchool is very engaging this past year 25-26. Teachers and staff engaged frequently on DOJO, email and text about upcoming events, trips, teacher/student class engagement and more. They will send me pictures as well with permission obviously what they do, accomplish and celebrate. They celebrate success which is awesome. Son was student of the month, TAG and recognitions for behavior. It was a pretty awesome experience. Since it was my first time attending the school I didn’t knew the ins & outs so their are some rules to follow i.e. no getting out of the vehicle while in the line to pick up and drop off.School is clean in and out. Very organized with events and other things that go on with kids. Halls are decorated with students art, pictures and recognitions. Thank you Mr.Villatoro, Mrs, Cortez, Mrs. Choudhury and Ms.Olmos. Mr. Stark and staff.Parent Review1mo ago5 Reviews - Haley J Elementary School

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageCan't wait to take my child out this school some of the teachers are bully's and they allow bullying here . If you care about your child's well being don't bring them here. Schools are really not the same as they were years ago with good teachers and a safe environment.Parent Review10mo ago9 Reviews - Haley T Elementary School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school only caters to the Hispanic/Latin origin. Other ethnic backgrounds are made to feel unwelcomed by staff, administrators, and even students. I’ve addressed my concerns of targeted discrimination and harassment but my concerns fall on deaf ears.Parent Review1y ago13 Reviews - Johnston Elementary School

2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI am writing to express my deep disappointment regarding how this school addresses the issues of bullying and student misconduct. My children have encountered instances of physical aggression, including being hit, pushed, and bullied. In a particularly distressing incident, one student compelled my daughter to pick up his spit with her bare hands, while another child issued a threat to her life. I have communicated these concerns to the school counselors; however, I have observed that no effective action has been taken to resolve these matters. The response I have received indicates that the school prioritizes support for programs catering to children with disabilities and behavioral challenges, yet this should not overlook the need for a safe and respectful environment for all students.Parent Review1y ago13 Reviews
