"my neighborhood is close to several major highways so it's easy to get most anywhere in the metroplex. I drive to downtown Dallas in about 30 minutes depending on traffic. "

"We’ve lived in our neighborhood for 13 years and love our area. We enjoy walks, riding our bicycles, going to the JV football games on Thursday evenings and that the grocery store is just around the corner. The airport is convenient, Dart rail is close enough to walk to so we can take a quick trip into Dallas. Everything is minutes away; we couldn’t find a more perfect neighborhood. "

"We have friends (young couple) who just purchased, and know another young couple who moved to this area. Houses are adorable! Neighborhood and house styles are like something out of those old 1950s-60s shows "Leave it to Beaver" or "Father Knows Best". We also love the GIANT oaks. Both our friends homes have upgrades (stainless in kitchen, etc) and we are just waiting for the right house to come on the market. We want to get in now, before prices go up. "

Parent Review1y ago4 Reviews - Farine Elementary School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI would not recommend this school based on my experience. My child experienced repeated incidents with other students, and despite reporting concerns, the issue was not resolved nor was there communication. Academically, I also felt there was a lack of support in learning and there was limited communication or intervention to help improve her performance.Every child deserves to feel safe and supported in their learning, and unfortunately that was not our experience.Parent Review1mo ago21 Reviews - Lee Elementary School

1/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI am writing to express my deep disappointment regarding how this school addresses the issues of bullying and student misconduct. My children have encountered instances of physical aggression, including being hit, pushed, and bullied. In a particularly distressing incident, one student compelled my daughter to pick up his spit with her bare hands, while another child issued a threat to her life. I have communicated these concerns to the school counselors; however, I have observed that no effective action has been taken to resolve these matters. The response I have received indicates that the school prioritizes support for programs catering to children with disabilities and behavioral challenges, yet this should not overlook the need for a safe and respectful environment for all students.Parent Review1y ago13 Reviews - The Sloan School

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAll of my children have gone to Wesleyan Academe. The teachers are amazing and each are filled with so much love. I know my child is learning and is loved. Not only that, my child has a passion for learning. This is one of the best schools in the DFW area.Parent Review4y ago6 Reviews
