"The neighbors are friendly and keep their property looking nice. The area is close to amenities such as grocery shopping, movies, and the Galleria and downtown Houston are not too far away. This is a great neighborhood for children and dog walkers."

"In this apartment there is a small play area for children, my daughter loves it and often goes to the place to play. And this apartment is close to the supermarket and bus stop so I can easily go to it and buy essential items."

"Great safe quiet neighborhood for families and kids. Have lived here since 2018 and plan to stay a long time. Majority owners vs renters. Side streets have little thru traffic"

"Great location to many of Houston's best features. Great home prices for location. Surprisingly quiet, friendly and walkable. We have a great neighborhood pool and a park which is rare for the city. Truly a hidden jewel for price compared to what all you get!"

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school was great for my preschooler who started at age 3, Prek-3, the teachers- Ms Veasley and Ms Pena were awesome, at 3 my daughter could write her name, knew all the alphabet and their sounds, Count, identify and 1-20, the school and teachers gave her a great head start in learning.Parent Review4y ago8 Reviews - Robert M Beren Academy

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AveragePlease, for the sake of your children, do not send them to this school. What happened to my son here is something no parent should ever have to recount. On his way to training one afternoon, he stopped and politely asked if he could use the bathroom. He was told to wait, so he sat there patiently, trusting that an adult would eventually help him. Instead, when someone finally came, he was cruelly kicked out and denied access to the restroom. As a result, my child was humiliated in the worst possible way. He soiled himself in public, in front of other children, and now carries a deep emotional scar from that experience. To deny a desperate child a bathroom is not discipline, it is not policy, it is not order—it is cruelty of the highest degree.I do not care what the written rules of this school may be. There are moments that demand basic human decency, compassion, and empathy. When a child is begging to use the bathroom, you do not respond with dismissal and humiliation. What this school allowed to happen to my son is inexcusable, and to me, unforgivable. This is not simply a failure of policy, it is a failure of humanity. Parents, please think twice before entrusting your child’s well-being to an institution that can display such coldness and disregard for a child in distress.Other Review8mo ago14 Reviews - Trafton Academy

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageIt was a really bad experience, and even after a year of being away from this institution I still find myself concerned for the students there. The carpool is extremely unsafe. The administration and the only third grade teacher there have extremely troubling practices that my wife tried desperately to have Trafton's board examine, only to find out the eighth grade language arts teacher is on that very board as treasurer and the president is the commissioner of the board that oversees that board. The school also heavily practices nepotism throughout throughout its staff, faculty and administration, which allows many teachers' egos to go unchecked. We have since transferred to a music charter school within HISD, we have experienced zero problems in the conflict / resolution protocols. Even though our child passed literacy exams that were required prior to acceptance, we were informed during the initial tour of the school that Trafton does not under any circumstances accept children with disabilities, simply because they do not have the funds to 'accommodate their special needs.'Parent Review11mo ago34 Reviews - Avondale House

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy overall experience with Corpus Christi Catholic School has been meaningful and formative. The school provides a strong sense of community, where faith, academics, and personal development are all emphasized. One of the best parts of the experience is the closek environment where teachers and staff are genuinely invested in the students, and there’s a clear focus on values, discipline, and character.Parent Review1mo ago20 Reviews - Mrs. Wagner's School
