"Pretty much everyone owns a dog, so pretty much no one is bothered about issues with another ones dog. No one is bothered by the barking or and no one really lets their dog run the neighborhood."

"To me is not safe to live in that area or to raise a family. Their schools are not that great but decent"

"I’ve lived here since 2015 and I absolutely love it. I feel very safe here the neighbors are friendly and look out for each other. The recent gentrification is changing the neighborhood but overall I still like it. "

"A lot of people here let their dogs come into your yard and poop. It’s pretty bad. A lot of folks also do not keep their dogs locked in their property so if you are out walking expect yo run into other loose dogs. Finally many residents don’t use leashes when walking their pups "

"do not move here! it's still going under gentrification which means there are still a lot of prostitutes and thieves the walk the streets at night my car gets broken into pretty regularly to the point where I don't even lock it anymore or keep valuables inside just to make it easier for someone to see there's no need to break my windows. if you're dumb enough to fall for the cheap rent that's your fault"

"What makes this neighborhood unique is the neighbors. Don't do it, you will regret it. I wake up to gun shots at least once a week. The parking is horrible. Don't have gatherings cause neighbor will harass guest. Home is beautiful but area is horrible."

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis information is outdated. Burrus Elementary, now proudly rated a B+ school, is far from what it used to be. The culture has dramatically shifted, and the results are clear—STAAR scores are even stronger than last year, and students are thriving in a more focused, supportive environment.Under the steady and visionary leadership of Principal Williams, Burrus has made consistent year-over-year progress. The campus feels different—in the best way. Expectations are higher, relationships are stronger, and there’s a renewed sense of pride and purpose in every hallway and classroom.Burrus is no longer the school it once was. It’s a school on the rise—and it shows.Other Review10mo ago6 Reviews - Kennedy Elementary School
