"Less of a family area but everyone is kind regardless. Very pet friendly but mostly students or couples with pets around here"

"Most dogs are behind the fences and most walked dogs are taken to the nearby park. Majority of dogs here are for protection and safety. "

"Every community amenity is available to all the residents from proximity to downtown to libraries, park, public book , recreation center, elementary school. It’s a small section off neighborhood away from other obstructions."

"Bachman Lake begins Love Field is a great place to walk, run, ride or spend time with your family. There’s also a lot of pet friendly places nearby. Although, many pet owners are particularly closed minded in this area in regards to pets meeting and playing. "

"Traffic and streets not very good, kind of noisy. But neighbors are good. A lot of people walk dogs, but few places to go."

"I have lived on this street for twenty five years, my wife has been here since her childhood. her parents, uncles, cousins, and in-laws live in this same neighborhood. we care for each other and have grown old together. The friends and neighbors who share our love for this neighborhood are very proud of the caring community or parents have entrusted to us."

"Mostly Mexican people are located here ,it is very safety but there are many concerns with these people. First of all , if you like quiet place, STAY AWAY. Almost each house has guard dog, these dogs all night will bark and their owners never check them , I complaint many neighbors , thanks to Dallas Hall did not do anything , also many of these people like to torture to their dog , never take their pet to park. Every friday and saturday , there are many parties , in backyards, front yards , they will turn on music with high bass , I called police around 20 times, even they did not stop them. At last I sold my house, I save myself and my wife and I learned my lesson. "

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI understand it is the first day of school but this pick up line needs to be improved. I was at the front of the line since 2:24pm. No one came out to the vehicles until 3:25pm calling names from the paper. My daughter’s name was called 5 times and she never came out from the walkie talkie. Everyone was getting off, forming a line to get there children while parents in the vehicles were waiting and waiting. 2 separate schools is not going to work and having a carline for 2 schools is not helping either. I didn’t get my child until 3:45. This is ridiculous having stopped traffic for no reason.Parent Review11mo ago6 Reviews - Our Lady of Perpetual Help School

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI was honestly really happy with this school for my child. The teachers actually seemed to care about the students and would take extra time to help if someone was struggling, which made a big difference. The classes were challenging but not overwhelming, and my kid came home actually understanding what they learned instead of just being confused. I also liked how the school had a lot of activities and clubs, so students could find things they enjoy and make friends. Communication from the staff was pretty good too, so I always knew what was going on. Overall, it felt like a safe and supportive place where my child could learn and grow.Other Review3mo ago13 Reviews - Biomedical Preparatory at UT Southwestern

9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI am a physician in the area with a child at biomedical prep. We have seen our child really blossom the last few years at this school. Dr. G and Ms. Maffuci are honestly the best principals I have ever interacted with. Ms. Mafucci knows every child's name, greets them as they walk into school and when they are leaving as well. She takes parent feedback seriously. My child is performing at almost a grade level ahead on their readiness testing. They love learning about the body and know basic concepts about how the brain, heart and GI system work. The after school programs are not what the private schools in the area offer, but I think that is an unrealistic expectation for a DISD public school where tuition doesn't cost 40k a year. The school community aspect is tough as it's a commuter school, but we have had some wonderful events and have made what I hope will be lifelong friendships. I think this school is still finding it's legs, but we have been pleasantly surprised and will likely stay for elementary school.Parent Review9mo ago4 Reviews
