"We have lots of taco trucks and my local HEB and Walmart. Bus line is closer to Lamar. Neighbors are decent. "

"The sidewalks are narrow and rocky. When I am dog sitting for a friend, I feel there is not enough space to comfortably walk along the paths."

"Dog restrictions to 40lb limit, but after leasing office closes people walk pits rotts etc with no leash at night. Random dogs roam around all night."

"If you like smelling drugs, getting your vehicle broken into and cops basically living outside due to gunshots etc. then this place is perfect! Moved here with my wife we’re both in our lower 20s working in Austin trying to start our life and this place is literally the worst place either of us has lived. If it didn’t affect my credit I would’ve broken this lease a week after move in. Hope everyone else sees this and decides differently. Cheap rent for a reason. "

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy child is currently in her 4th year at Cedars, having started kindergarten during the pandemic. The school handled that difficult time and the transition back to school very well. My daughter thrives here with the smaller classroom sizes and has enjoyed all of her teachers this far. Definitely tour this facility!Parent Review6mo ago - Barrington Elementary School

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school is absolutely horrible. My son attended this school in kinder and half of first grade/ He, along with his 2 African American classmates, was bullied by much older children simply because they were not Hispanic and did not speak Spanish. The teachers and staff did absolutely nothing. Most of the teachers time is taken up with having to discipline unruly children. If your child already speaks English they are pretty much on their own academically. My son's 1st grade teacher urged me to pull him out of this school, which I did. Once he began attending a far better school it was discovered he was so behind from having been "taught" at Barrington he needed remedial lessons. My son worked his butt off and has been in gifted and talented since 4th grade. If you value your child's education you should steer clear of this place.Parent Review8y ago
