If you are considering Laurens Academy, consider other options. It is not a Christian school as advertised. It operates under a "Christian environment" and one walk through the Upper School proves it...no different than a public school with the foul language, bullying, and indifference to learning. Most of the administration spends their day dictating mindless policy in the front office while most teachers do the grunt work. The turnover of educators is high for a reason. The facilities are absolutely disgusting and students are allowed to trash classrooms with no consequences. Avoid this school if you desire a private education for your child. Almost any other private school is better.
