"The area is well maintained by the city and kids play in my neighborhood. My roommates and I feel safe walking to and from our home each night. "

"other dogs in neighborhood, see others walking their dogs, friendly and courteous people. Area is great place to live."
  • Karen O.
"It is about a 5 minute drive to the parkway in Edgewood and/or Squirrel Hill. Easy on and off. Just need to know you normal travel times. If heading downtown in morning, get on in Squirrel Hill and it is about a 5-10 minute drive to Grant St exit. I work 7 pm to 7 am in Monroeville by Forbes and it is normally a 20-25 minute drive. "

"Quiet and friendly with a short trip to downtown, the Southside, or the north shore. Can also access the areas around the city as well. Plenty of restaurants and entertainment close by as well!"

"Close-knit and quiet but also within minutes of the city. Easy commutes while having a suburb feel. Perfect combination of city and countryside. Everyone has been extremely friendly and there never seems to be any drama or complaints! An ideal place to raise a family, particularly for young professionals. "

"A lot of older people who are quiet and pleasant. There is a wave of young starting families moving in. Overall it is a quiet but lively neighborhood. We are super happy here!!!"
