"The commute downtown is simple! This is the first exit past the squirrel hill tunnels which makes commuting a breeze despite rush hour traffic. "

"Biddles escape, Madeleine Bakery, mookshi yoga studio, regent around the square, square cafe, D’s, the theater, Environmental Charter school, and my personal favorite—Frick Park... this is my absolute favorite place in pittsburgh. More than proud to call it my home."

"I have lived in Regent Square for 10 years now. I could not ask for a more serene environment living on the outskirts of a big city such as Pittsburgh. Anything I need is in walking distance from my home and if driving, I am always within 15 minutes of anywhere. Not to mention the beautiful Frick Park directly across the highway from me. A 9 square mile park that boasts 2 huge dog parks, streams and creeks, hundreds of unique birds, vegetation and wild flowers to keep you consumed for hours. Along with tennis courts, bowling greens, hiking, biking, cross-country skiing and walking trails, this breath-taking park is host to many gatherings. The Run Around the Square 5k race, the annual Susan G. Komen Mother's Day Race for the Cure, the annual Pittsburgh Great Race and various eco-friendly, hands-on workshops, just to name a few. With friendly coffee shops, cafes, art galleries, yoga, massage & wellness studios, antique stores, vintage clothing stores, deli's, sandwich shops and restaurants and the funky Regent Square Theatre within 500 feet of my home, I am truly blessed to be afforded this kind of community. The people that you will meet will never let you down and you will always see friendly and familiar faces. Everyone in the community looks out for one another, keeps the area clean and safe and are always willing to lend a hedge trimmer or a few eggs when you are in need. Why pay Shadyside or Squirrel Hill prices if you can have all that both those towns have to offer and more, when you can live, eat, work and play in Regent Square for half the price? If you are looking for a change or just truly need a new start, come and take a breath of fresh air in this lovely town...trust me, you will not be let-down! "

"Made up of home from Wilkinsburg, Swissvale, Edgewood and Pittsburgh Regent Square has everything from a movie theatre to Frick park (a 500 acre park with walking trails and Dog Park). Regent Square is also the home to a new charter school (with additional charter schools to follow) and is also centrally located for easy access to many private and parochial schools. There is a community focus with both a News Letter and community events. You can’t go shopping without seeing someone you know. It’s a very friendly community. "
