7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAmazing leadership by the school principal and energetic teachers. An active PTA hosts family friendly activities that foster a school community that is inclusive. Students in attendance are from various religious, developmentally diverse, socio-economic and ethnic backgrounds. This diversity and inclusive setting teach children acceptance of others unlike themselves.. Amazing school!Parent Review11y ago3 Reviews - Mountain View Elementary School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI love this school! I have two children currently enrolled. It is such a nice little school. The teachers all know the kids. Communication is excellent between teachers and parents. The school secretary is on top of everything and is always helpful. They offer enrichment opportunities for students that excel. There is an active parent-teacher co-op that runs many different programs and events throughout the year that build community.Parent Review8y ago6 Reviews - Thomas W Holtzman Jr El School

2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school is the worst in Susquehanna Township. A male student that goes here, a family member of mine, has struggled throughout this school, and seemingly everyday comes home, and repeats what other kids say there, including threats, harm to others, harm to himself (including su*c*de), name calling, hatred, etc. The kids here are mostly bad, the teachers do not seem to help nor care, and the principal does not seem to do his job and rather be a friend to the kids. It is not your duty to be a "friend;" it is your duty and job to help discipline these kids. No wonder this school rates poorly across all spectrums... Something needs to be addressed ASAP! This is ridiculous!!!!Other Review1y ago5 Reviews - Harrisburg Christian School

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageExtremely unprofessional and rude. If you are looking for a school with Christian values for your children, this isn’t it. Invest in your children elsewhere.Parent Review2mo ago20 Reviews - Little Learners Child Development Center

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school is not safe and especially in the younger levels, admin does not seem to care about the students and only school reputation. Where there are 1 or 2 great teachers trying to do things for the kids, there are more teachers that either don’t have the right training or just don’t want to be there. I have been so dissatisfied as a former teacher myself, seeing what is happening at this center. Some classes are only given 15 minute recess, diapers do not get changed nearly enough. Children should not be stuck in wet diapers over nap. There is not a scheduled diaper change time after lunch/before nap. When this policy was questioned I was informed that “it’s the way every class does it”.I have noticed a general lack of supervision from many staff, and have been shocked at how many times I see only 1 teacher watching a full class when state ratio requires 1 teacher to every 7 kids in my child’s age group. Children in the class are not even allowed to use tables and chairs in the room and they are bribed with candy instead of taught how to be a kind and respectful part of society. I will not be returning.Parent Review2y ago13 Reviews - New Story

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis is the beginning of my grandson's third year at New Story. He started at New Story in kindergarten. It's hard to believe that he is in second grade already, but the staff at New Story are so helpful in making him want to learn. We had so many problems trying to find the right school fit when he began kindergarten, but we found New Story and I can't imagine him going to any other school. He has made so much progress and I believe that it is the motivation of the staff to keep him on track. All of the staff including the office staff work at a difficult job, but I truly believe it is because they are the kind of people who really want to make a difference. Thank you to all of you who have helped make this a positive experience.Parent Review8y ago1 Reviews - New Story School
