I went to this school K5-Senior and graduated here.I went to SLCS as well as the church, LABC.It is a very legalistic school. Here is just a few of their rules:You are required to bring and read 1 Bible (KJV).You are required to have the principal as a friend on your social media accounts. Students are not allowed to go to movie theaters. Women can never wear pants and have to wear long skirts below the knee. Women have to have an extremely high neckline. Every morning the women have to walk in a circle around a teacher who eyes and tells them if their clothes are not modest enough and need to go home and change. If you sing in choir you can not “slide” when you sing and have strict singing guidelines.Why do they have all these rules? To help with education? No, they have strict legalistic rules be due if you don’t abide by these rules then you are extremely “worldly” and at State Line you are a Christian and need to be not like the “world”.Their rules are not scriptural is the issue. They are just rules they make up. I think they are attempting to produce legalistic drones but the issue is as soon as students graduate they typically go off the deep end because they think being a Christian means following all these rules. They don’t teach you what it truly means to be a Christian.I wish the school offered a counselor for students and parents.They don’t prepare you for college in the fact that they don’t help students try to receive grants, or apply for scholarships. They don’t reach out to students to help with college resources. You are all on your own in that regard.The pastor/leader of school loves sports. You can tell because students who play sports are looked as the most important people in the school. They can miss classes for games, practices, etc.I wish there would be more emphasis on things other than sports like art, photography, band, choir, etc.I believe they need more after school programs other than sports.Overall, I’d say this school needs a lot of change if they really want to reach students and truly prepare them outside of school.

I'm a student and from what I see teachers are fun to see for help and there is always something to do. This is my 7th year here and I can not be happier the friends I make are amazing and teachers are willing to help when ever.

I can't say enough great things about this school. I had minor concerns about my son's transition from public to private schooling. (I attended public school myself and come from a pretty non-religious family) Most Blessed Sacrament has been one of the biggest blessings I've experienced yet! I never have had a single worry or concern over my child's care, safety or education. MBS has phenomenal staff that visibly loves their students and their families. They have done a lot for mine. I'll always have nothing but love for the school, church and parishioners that complete the MBS community!!!
