As a student, I’ve had a very negative experience at Donnell Middle School. The school struggles with safety, food quality, and addressing bullying.•Safety/Security: There were 7 fights in just one week. The school only acted after the fourth fight, and even then the security was temporary and didn’t prevent more fights. Students still don’t feel safe.•Food Quality: The cafeteria food is terrible. Fruits and vegetables often taste bad, and some students have even reported mold on them.•Bullying/Harassment: Many students who reported bullying or harassment were told “we’ll fix it,” but nothing was actually done. The problems continue, and students are left without support.

I am very disappointed in the experience our boys have had at Jefferson. There’s a total lack of compassion and understanding on more than one occasion from the principal and the secretary. There definitely needs to be more mental health/ grieving education.

Grandest school in the state of Ohio.

This school did a great job during the pandemic last year. Its approach was the most effective in the area. I am happy that my kid was safe and healthy while learning and growing.
