"keep your kids safe and off the streets at night late. There is a way you can talk to your kids and teach them the right thing about streets going to college. It would help your kids stay out of trouble"

"I dont have any dogs or cats. Its pretty quiet here because most dog owners keep their dogs inside so we dont hear them barking."

"I've lived here for about 3 years and I'd say this is a really good neighborhood compared to some other parts of town. It gets a bad reputation but its affordable, its central, its relatively safe, and its cozier."

"North Linden has historically been a working class neighborhood, and it's now up and coming. A lot of young families have moved to NorLin recently & houses are quickly being renovated and sold. We also have several urban farms & Florin Coffee recently opened in the neighborhood. There is crime, mostly south and east of us, but the pocket around Oakland Nursery is safe & quiet. Neighbors keep an eye out for each other. It's a great neighborhood for walking your dog & for kids to play. NorLin is still affordable, many homes have huge yards, and it's central to everything in Columbus."

"I moved here in 2012 from Florida and live in the heart of North Linden. Some areas in N. Linden are worse than others but overall I would recommend this area to people. If you mind your own business and take the necessary steps to protect yourself , your children and pets, I'd say you wouldn't have a problem living here."

"I lived in this neighborhood for three years. It is dangerous, and shootings occur regularly. Most streets do not have sidewalks, and cars speed a lot."

"I feel so unsafe walking my dogs in this neighborhood. It has become a daily occurrence that we are charged by off leash dogs or dogs that escaped their yards and owners are MIA. I drive 15 minutes away to walk my dogs in a different neighborhood so we can feel safe. "

"I've lived in north linden all my life. most people are pretty friendly. I walk my dogs and skate in this area with no problems. everything is extremely close, freeway, malls, downtown, high street shopping, plenty of small corner stores. I absolutely love north linden."

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI really like CSIA. My daughter's teacher seemed very dedicated and committed to helping the students succeed. I was hesitant to send my child to CSIA because of the location and look of the school. After the first week, I was highly confident that the staff was dedicated to keeping my child safe. We may not be returning next year due to a work related move and I am not happy about that. I am not a fan of the Columbus City School district but I LOVE CSIA and have no issues recommending it. IF we are unable to return next year, CSIA and it's staff will be greatly missed. I cannot say enough about how great CSIA is.Other Review9y ago7 Reviews - Como Elementary School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageIf I could put a zero star I would. To start they are teaching at a second grade level to 5th graders. The boys only talk about how they are all gang affiliated. The staff all walk around with attitudes. My son's second day of school was screamed at by a teacher for looking out a window at the end of the day to see if I was outside. Instead of a warning he was screamed at, when he didn't even know it was against the rules yet. Was threatened by supposedly gang members. My son is mixed and says their was no pictures of a white person thru out the entire school. Their is so much more, but long story short, if you want your child to learn how to become a gang member this is definitely the school for you.Parent Review4mo ago7 Reviews - Oakland Park Alternative Elementary School

2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageOverall great experience. I think they do need to improve giving consequences to children that bully other children. Laat year my son was being bullied and all it took me was one time to go and sit in the class and explain to that boy to not bully my son and gave him the mom look. Ever since then the child has been respectful and doesn't bully my son anymore. He just needed some guidance.Parent Review7y ago10 Reviews - Tree Of Life Christian School

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy daughter's 12th grade year was trauma-inducing. She was judged, condemned, and criticized by teachers, students, coaches, and administrators because her parents believed a little differently than the TOL model. This should have been one of the highlights of her life, but instead, they made her life miserable. I have written to them about these experiences, but received no response.Parent Review4y ago16 Reviews - Sonshine Christian Academy
